Mediterranean village bathed in golden light by Studio Pieternel

● Exclusive design for Werk aan de Muur / Art Heroes Bring the warm atmosphere of a Mediterranean village into your living room with this unique work of art. The image shows a characteristic ensemble of historic buildings, crowned by a church tower, captured in an artistic interplay of lines. The composition is embraced by a large, golden circle reminiscent of a setting sun or a protective arch, giving the whole a special dynamic.

This design clearly showcases the power of modern digital art. The combination of loose sketch lines, watercolour-like colour fields and a calm palette of beige, ochre and deep green creates a timeless look. The work balances between classic illustration and modern painting, evoking an atmosphere of tranquillity and nostalgia.

This artwork is a beautiful addition to an interior with natural materials such as wood, linen and lime paint. Its horizontal orientation and calm background make it a stunning addition above a sofa, bed or low sideboard. In a Japandi or Scandinavian interior style, this design provides just the right amount of warmth and character without disturbing the tranquillity of the space.

Whether you opt for a textile wallpaper finish for a tactile experience or an ArtFrame for a sleek, museum-like look, this design remains an eye-catcher that reminds you of warm summer days every day.
