This work was created, by necessity, through multiple techniques within acrylic casting. I started with a Dutch pour, I didn't like how it turned out. I started adding additional paint, and through tilting, swiping, and blowing, this work emerged. I don't think about what it should be beforehand. I choose colors that I think go well together, and then I look for balance, tension, and the right composition. Then, when I'm done, I usually see something in it, sometimes several things, and then I give it a name.
The colors used are gold, turquoise, purple, black, and white.
There seems to be something going on in space. A nebula, gas cloud, nebula, in beautiful colors. Especially the gold makes this piece very interesting.
I started painting in 1996. Mostly in the anthroposophical way, which means wet on wet, and transparent painting.
