About ‘Meander of the Vecht near Rheeze’ by Bernard van Zwol
At the river Vecht, much work has been done to give it more space when it overflows its banks. A meander was dug at this spot, the two bends of which are clearly visible. Meanwhile, nature has reclaimed the space and everything is overgrown with flowers again. Clouds pass over the area, accentuating its vastness.

I was born in Leens in Groningen and moved around a lot. Meanwhile we, my wife and I live in Assen. The children are out the door. I have been working with photography since I was 16 years old. First with a Ricoh 35 ZF , later switched to SLR camera's of Praktica and Olympus ( analogue ) and now for many years Nikon. I like to make yearbooks of the format 30 x 30. The camera always goes with me when I am out and about.
