McDonnell Douglas MD-11 of Lufthansa Cargo.
Registration: D-ALCM.
An iconic aircraft for many aviation enthusiasts, the McDonnell Douglas MD-11 is affectionately called "elf" by its fans. It is a long-range, three-engine aircraft.
Due to the COVID pandemic, several airlines have said goodbye to their 3- and 4-engine aircraft such as the MD-11 (or its predecessor the DC-10), the Boeing 747 and Airbus A380.
In October 2021, Lufthansa retired its last MD-11 from service.
