About the artwork

The restrained lighting in this freely invented landscape painting creates a peculiar atmosphere. The dark and earthy depiction of the vast landscape, which stretches to the horizon where it ends in a bluish mountain range, gives the painting a sublime depth. The subtle light reveals only some parts of the scenery, stimulating the viewer's imagination to explore the rest of the landscape.

The sky takes up most of the picture, and here a fascinating play of clouds unfolds. The light that breaks through these clouds casts soft rays on parts of the landscape, which are thus submerged in a soft glow, similar to a place in deep sleep. The dominant colour palette, mainly grey, blends harmoniously with blue and earthy tones, creating a special depth and contemplation. This interplay of light and shadow, which immerses the landscape in a fairytale-like mood, gives the viewer room for interpretation and allows him to immerse himself in the mysterious world of the painting.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
