About ‘Matisse's Surrealist World: Dreaming between Borders’ by Arjen Roos

In this work, the boundaries between reality and imagination are fascinatingly blurred. Two houses face each other in a vast, empty plain, separated by a shadowy, silhouetted figure reminiscent of Henri Matisse's carved shapes.
