Matera, located in the Puglia region in southern Italy, is a town steeped in history and charm. Famous for its cave dwellings, the "Sassi," carved into limestone cliffs, Matera offers a unique glimpse into a timeless past. The Sassi, which are UNESCO World Heritage sites, testify to a way of life that remained unchanged for thousands of years.

In recent times, Matera has gained international fame as a film location. The picturesque landscape, with its winding streets, ancient churches, and breathtaking views, provided the perfect backdrop for the opening scenes of the James Bond film 'No Time To Die'. The intense chases and breathtaking stunts that take place in Matera's narrow alleys give the film an authentic and spectacular atmosphere.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
