About ‘Marl quarry (ENCI) near Maastricht’ by Roel Jonker

In 1924, the Eerste Nederlandse Cement Industrie was founded in Maastricht, the cradle of today's company.
In the ENCI quarry in the St Pietersberg near Maastricht, the entire cement production process took place until 2018, in 2018 the marl quarry was closed and finally, in 2020, production was permanently terminated.
