Manenborgh, also known as Manenburg, was a stronghold in the centre of the Dutch city of Utrecht. In the 16th century, Emperor Charles V had this city's medieval city defences expanded. This included four stone strongholds erected around 1550 on the defensive moat (the Stadsbuitengracht), including Manenborgh. Lower parts of the stronghold have been preserved. Remains are a national monument as are two houses standing near the stronghold.
