About "Maki praying in the sun while looking straight at me"

About the artwork

This beautiful lemur looked straight into the screen during the photo session at Aquazoo Leeuwarden. Here I regularly give workshops and courses for other photography enthusiasts. In between, I take pictures of the most beautiful wild animals in nature with a lot of love and patience.

I captured this lemur in a beautiful warm atmosphere, with a border of light around him. The sun came through just a little bit between the clouds and the lemur's went full prayers in the sun!

Hopefully my images will help for creating the feeling you get when looking at wild animals. Animals should be protected and belong in a safe, clean and natural environment to survive with other animals. Sometimes unfortunately in a shelter or zoo, but regularly in the wild like birds of prey, squirrels and many other animals. See my profile for lots of pictures's of all kinds of animals in their natural habitat, in the shelter or in the zoo. I do my best to capture the animal as beautifully as possible with my digital SLR camera.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
