The round headers from Magirus Deutz were a completely new design and for the first time the so-called round headers were created. They were built from 1952-1967 with a planetary gear, hence the model names for planets and stars (Jupiter, Mercury, Pluto, Saturn, Sirius, Uranus). For the post office they were built on explicit request until 1971 (1.000 pieces). So this Magirus Deutz is a Sirius D7L with 90 HP and 6 cylinders and was on the road as a mail van at that time.
