This blue grape hyacinth was introduced to the Netherlands in the 16th century and falls under the so-called stately plants. Muscari botryoides 'Album' flowers from April to May. The height of Muscari botryoides 'Album' is about 15 to 20 cm. Muscari botryoides 'Album' prefers a sunny spot in the border or lawn. Blue grapes are excellent for use as a naturalising bulb under shrubs or in the leading edge of borders.
