In der Lutherstadt Eisleben wurde Martin Luther geboren und getauft. Am Ende seines bewegten Lebens starb er auch hier. Als Teil des UNESCO-Weltkulturerbes vermitteln die Luthergedenkstätten mit dem Geburtshaus, der Taufkirche und dem Sterbehaus in Eisleben das Leben und Wirken des Reformators.
