About ‘Low tide on the Wadden Sea near Noordpolderzijl’ by Martijn van Dellen
Behind the dike is the smallest seaport in the Netherlands. The name of the hamlet Noordpolderzijl refers to the Noordpolder's zijl or lock. The harbour is accessible from the sea only at high tide via a shallow channel.
This photo was taken during sunset at the end of the shallow channel towards the Wadden Sea
