Love in a Black and White Collage by KRAB

You just have to dare because it is quite an intense work and a lot happens around it.

Black-and-white illustration of a gothic/punk couple leaning intimately against each other, with a collage of cartoon-like drawings in the background and a big black heart in the upper right.

This powerful and expressive digital artwork shows an alternative couple in an intimate embrace. The woman with long black hair, fringe and dark make-up leans against the chest of a man with short hair and necklace; both look serious and loving.

The background consists of a dynamic collage of black-and-white comic-like drawings and patterns, while a large black heart floats above to the right. The graphic, almost comic-like style with strong contrasts gives the work a raw, alternative edge full of passion and emotion. Ideal as wall decoration for lovers of goth, punk, alternative culture and intense romance.

It evokes an intense, almost painful love - raw, passionate and slightly melancholic. You feel the couple's deep connection and vulnerability, an emotion of "us against the world" with a bittersweet undertone of love that both connects and tears.

Symbolises love in all its complex, dark beauty.
For fans of comic/graphic novel-style an artful homage.
