This aerial photo taken at night of a roundabout with an Oldtimer Volkswagen Beetle was made by a drone. This is a slow shutter speed photo of a few seconds. This creates the light streaks on the aerial photo. These stripes are from moving cars.

Light trails are created in long-exposure photography. this is especially common in night photography.

The roundabout on the aerial photo is the Herbie roundabout in De Bilt, a small village next to Utrecht. On this roundabout is a work of art of a Volkswagen Beetle that looks a lot like Herbie. Herbie is the name of a Volkswagen Beetle and is also the "protagonist" of a series of Disney films. The special thing about Herbie is that he has his own personality and will. His driving skills are excellent and he participates in car competitions.

Aerial photography usually refers specifically to bird's-eye views that focus on landscapes and surface objects, and should not be confused with aerial-to-air photography, which uses one or more aircraft as pursuit aircraft "chasing" other aircraft and photographing them in flight. Photography at height can also produce bird's-eye views .
