About the artwork
Driving to work, I often see the most beautiful sunrises, which are often accompanied by beautiful red colours, fog over the meadows and silhouettes of cows and horses in the fog. But unfortunately, I didn't have time to stop then. But on one of my days off, I was up early as fog was predicted. And finally I could go on a quest to find a place where I could park along that road. I parked my car and stepped into this mysterious world with my photo backpack. Big, old trees stuck out of the fog like silhouettes and gave a very special atmosphere. I took out my camera from the bag and printed. And then I saw a cyclist approaching in the distance. A small light was coming towards me. I waited until the cyclist was nearby, with the silhouette of the man clearly visible, as well as the small bicycle light.
I unfortunately did not see the beautiful red sunrise and silhouettes of cows and horses that day. But of course, I was very happy with this dark/secret photo. Converting the photo to a black and white version and cropping it created this powerful image.
