The Millennium Footbridge is a pedestrian bridge in London. Made of steel, this suspension bridge hangs over the River Thames, between Southwark Bridge and Blackfriars Bridge, connecting Bankside to the City. It was the first new bridge over the Thames in London since Tower Bridge in 1894. The bridge is owned and maintained by Bridge House Estates. The south end of the bridge is close to Globe Theatre, the Bankside Gallery and Tate Modern. The north end of the bridge ends at the City of London School below St Paul's Cathedral. The bridge's design is such that there are still views of St Paul's Cathedral. In Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, this bridge also appears. Here, it is a target of Death Eaters' attacks. In this scene, the bridge collapses.
