About the artwork

This surreal illustration shows a nightmarish version of London, in which monstrous creatures and sinister beings mingle with the city's landmarks. At the centre is a Gothic-style clock tower, reminiscent of Big Ben and bathed in an ominous red light. A chaotic scene unfolds around it: snake-like dragons slither through the air with bared teeth, while skeletal beasts with glowing eyes lurk in the shadows.

The dark waters of the Thames are full of eerie boats, some with ghostly figures on board, others seemingly abandoned. Strange fish with piercing eyes emerge from the depths, their monstrous jaws wide open. Gothic architecture, bridges and towers merge into an otherworldly, dreamlike landscape in which reality and nightmare become blurred.

The colour palette consists of deep blues, blacks and fiery reds, which create a ghostly contrast and reinforce the picture's eerie atmosphere. Sharp, angular lines and intricate details give the composition a sense of movement, as if the city itself is alive and changing. What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
