Lockheed F-104G Starfighter of the Royal Air Force.

This aircraft entered service in the Air Force on 2 October 1963 and was the last Starfighter to take to the skies from Leeuwarden on 18 January 1984 as the last Dutch F-104.
The Lockheed F-104 Starfighter was a supersonic single-engine American fighter aircraft. The aircraft was designed by Lockheed as the successor to the F-100 Super Sabre.
The Starfighter was NATO's standard fighter-bomber during the period 1961-1985 after which the aircraft was replaced, mostly by the F-16. The aircraft also served in the Belgian Air Force and the Royal Air Force for many years.
The Royal Air Force had the F-104G, RF-104G (photo reconnaissance) and TF-104G (two-seater) in its inventory between 1962 and 1984. The Starfighter was replaced by the F-16 from 1979 onwards. The last flight in service in the Royal Air Force took place on 21 November 1984.
