Lockheed C-130H Hercules of the Royal Netherlands Air Force during take-off.
The aircraft is the G-273 "Ben Zwagerman".
The Lockheed C-130 is a medium-heavy transport aircraft that can carry up to 17,500 kg, 128 infantrymen or 92 paratroopers over a distance of about 5,500 km.
The Hercules can land on and take off from very primitive airfields with short runways. There is a large loading ramp in the back of the fuselage for loading and unloading goods. This tailgate allows the aircraft to load and unload without having to use loading facilities at airports. This ramp can also be opened during flight to allow paratroopers to jump.
