About the artwork

Somewhere in Europe stands this beautiful abandoned house. Beautiful on the outside, but once inside, this is a real gem for the photographer. The people who inhabited it literally left everything behind when they left. All the furniture, carpets, books, lamps, clothes, in short, the entire contents were left behind. Even the piano is still in the living room, with the chair in front of it, ready to be played again. Photographing in this house was very special, the atmosphere of days gone by present here gives a very special feeling. The house feels overtly uninhabited, you feel the long absence of people. But because the house is still completely furnished, you also get the feeling that the residents could step inside at any moment. Who lived, worked, lived here? These are just some of the questions that go through your mind when you enter a property like this, and try to capture the atmosphere with photos. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
