The black and white film was developed by hand and then digitally scanned. The Church of Reconciliation stands along the former Wall in Bernauer Strasse in Berlin's Mitte district and can be seen as a monument to German reunification.
The monochrome abstraction in classic black and white lends the motif a timeless, elegant visual statement.
