Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.
Still nothing? Open this page in Chrome or Safari. AR does not work in the browser of apps such as Instagram or Facebook.

About ‘Leipzig’s Old Town Hall with its tower beneath the clouds’ by ManfredFotos

In this portrait-format view, Leipzig’s Old Town Hall is shown with its striking tower as the dominant feature. The light-coloured historic façade, the warm red tiled roof and the richly decorated gables draw the eye upwards to the green-patinated spire. The historic clock on the tower stands out particularly beautifully; its colourful design provides a small but striking accent against the light-coloured walls. Beneath the roof, rows of dark windows and arcades run along the façade, lending the building a clear sense of rhythm. The upward-reaching composition makes the tower appear particularly monumental, whilst white and grey clouds against a deep blue sky lend a sense of movement. Thus, the image combines warm architectural colours with a fresh, slightly dramatic atmosphere. The photograph conveys a sense of history and urban elegance without appearing static. As a portrait-format wall art piece, it is ideal for narrow wall spaces, corridors or areas between windows. For lovers of Leipzig and fans of historic architecture, this motif offers a characteristic view of the Old Town Hall, which may evoke memories of strolls through Leipzig’s market square and explorations of the city centre.
