This work shows an unusual image of one of Amsterdam's busier shopping streets, the Leidsestraat. A completely deserted street is shown from a low perspective. It is Sunday morning and the corona crisis keeps everyone inside. On the horizon is the Stadsschouwburg on the Leidsplein. The tram rails on which the trams run through the narrow street from both directions determine the image, partly due to the special rail change.
