During a day in Flushing, I saw the pilot tenders sailing up and down to the ships and back to the harbor.
I walked onto the dock and armed with the camera took action photos of these fast ships. Pilotage and its ships continue to fascinate. And the scenery of the Westerschelde with the ocean liners sailing her en route to and from the port of Antwerp.
Raw and the port as it is the people who work there. The images I see there I like to photograph because it is art in itself. The port is another world. The landscape of the port is always changing. The ships the people the landscape it continues to fascinate me.
