About "Lavender field in Drôme Provençale"

About the artwork

This panoramic work shows a deep purple lavender field in France. The field is wide and halfway across is a lone tree. In the background loom the mountains which contrast beautifully with the blue sky. In the Drôme, where this photograph was taken, the Alps and Provence, warmth and wonderful intoxicating scents come together.

About image-maker Peter Bartelings: as a born and bred Amsterdammer, I feel closely connected with the city of Amsterdam, also as a photographer and image-maker for FotoAmsterdam.com. Besides the Amsterdam collection there is also work from other cities in the Netherlands, like Haarlem, Groningen, Zwolle, Leiden, Delft etc. In addition, a lot of work has also been made in France and Germany. Moreover, over the years I have built up an interesting collection of digital art, including adaptations of old masters that have been given a new look and fit perfectly into a modern interior.

My work is internationally known and hangs besides the Netherlands, also in Belgium and Germany on the walls of clients.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
