About the artwork

This vibrant and graphically stylised composition captures the raw energy of a night of drinking, gambling and petty rituals. On an abstract, pink tabletop with dynamic lines and areas of colour lie three gold-coloured glasses of beer, a few game cards, ashtrays with smouldering cigarettes and remnants of shredded notes. The style is a hybrid of digital painting, street art and comic book-like touches, with everything looking deliberately distorted and fragmentary.

The colour combination of yellow gold, fuchsia and night blue creates a blistering contrast, while the choice of perspective - slanted from above - draws the viewer directly into the scene. The scene seems frozen at the climax of a long conversation or gambling night: dice, small pieces of paper and crumbs are scattered in the image as silent witnesses of time passing.

The loose brushstrokes and abstract background add to the atmosphere of controlled chaos. The work exudes urban attitude and night culture, with a nod to decadent still life - but translated into the language of neon lights, bar smoke and digital noise.

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
