The tanker Ice Point on its way to sea in the early morning.
The sun rises on the harbor . The ships go through the locks at IJmuiden. This seagoing ship goes to sea there are already ships arriving from sea on their way to Amsterdam.
The sun breaking through the deserted pier where there are no people yet. The seagulls gliding quietly through the air. The morning is beautiful on the pier.
I was wondering where is that ship going where is she going to load.
Raw and the harbor as it is the people who work there. The images I see there I like to photograph because it is art in itself. The harbor is a different world. The landscape of the harbor is always in motion. The ships, the people and the landscape continue to fascinate me.
