New South Wales, Australia, Snowy River region
The Snowy River is a major river in southeastern Australia. It rises on the slopes of Mount Kosciuszko, the highest peak in mainland Australia, and drains the eastern slopes of the Snowy Mountains in New South Wales, before flowing through Alpine National Park and Snowy River National Park in Victoria and emptying into Bass Strait
