Altogether there were three series in the 10-year construction period from 1968-1978, whereby the body remained almost completely untouched. Inside the 4-seater sports coupé, however, it has been repeatedly converted and fitted using state-of-the-art technology. All the more interesting that I was able to photograph and study an Espada of the series 2 with first registration from 08/1972 extensively. Because this one got a completely new dashboard and steering wheel. The power steering was already available as an option in 1970, the automatic transmission from 1974, shock absorbing bumpers due to new safety regulations in the USA from 1975.
