Covadonga lakes: A serene scene in the rain

Amid the rugged beauty of the Picos de Europa lie the enchanting lakes of Covadonga, Lago Enol and Lago Ercina. On a rainy day, they take on an even more mysterious appearance. The sky is grey, drops gently ripple across the water, and the mountains slowly disappear in the mist. This is a landscape that is alive, regardless of the weather.

In the foreground, a flock of sheep graze, their thick coats glistening in the rain. They don't care about the wetness and carry on quietly, protected by loyal sheepdogs. The dogs keep a sharp eye on the flock, alert for any sign of danger. Their presence gives the picture a sense of harmony between humans, animals and nature.

The rain adds another layer to the atmosphere-the colours become more intense, the grass greener, the rocks darker. A serene calm hangs over the landscape, interrupted only by the gentle bleating of the sheep and the tapping of the rain on the water.

This image tells the story of an ancient rhythm: the interplay between nature and tradition. A pure, unspoilt moment in one of Spain's most beautiful areas.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
