About "Lake window"

About the artwork

In the painting "Lake Window" the viewer is immersed in an enormously large and almost oversized room that offers a wonderful view. It is up to the viewer whether he assumes that the window has a glass pane or whether it is merely an opening in the wall.

The painting on the existing walls is in the impressionist style and delights with an abundance of colour. Each area offers the eye a unique variety and diversity. The same is true of the flooring, which is dazzling in different hues and appears to be made of stone slabs.

Beach chairs are placed on the left side of the room, surrounded by two shady trees. These trees seem to have been growing in this room for some time and are of impressive size, with dense foliage.

As far as the view is concerned, the gaze of the viewer and the visitor to the beach chairs wanders into a light-filled expanse and distance. There, the clouds melt into the light, while below lies a colourful yet calm sea that is constantly changing its colours. This view is likely to be extremely restful for many people, inviting them to wander into the distance with both their eyes and their own thoughts.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
