It was a cold winter day at Roegwold, Lake Dannemeer, near Schildwolde.
The sky was impressive, with large, dark clouds mixing with pink and orange hues of the sun's setting. The contrast between the hard, grey colours of nature and the warm tones of the sunset was clearly visible. It was cold, but it was worth stopping and taking in the scenery. Occasionally, a flock of geese flew over me which made it even more beautiful.
The skies changed quickly, and soon the sun sank further behind the horizon, making the landscape even fresher and calmer. The reflection of the colours on the water was clearly visible.
When the sun was really completely gone, the full moon appeared behind me, it provided a beautiful light over the lake.
