This is a painting of the Kromslootpark in Almere-Haven.
A truly beautiful realistic painting. And stunningly beautiful as photo wallpaper.
An idyllic landscaped park with beautiful nature, hills, streams, bridges, flowering shrubs, reeds, lots of water birds and free-roaming sheep.
This enchanting image was captured in photo during a walk in spring 2022.
The clouds indicate that showers are on their way. The sky behind the clouds is fresh blue. You can see the reflection of the clouds and sky in the rippling water.
The plumes of reeds have almost disappeared, but new reeds are already emerging. They are fresh green in colour. The trees and bushes have green leaves again. How beautiful nature can be.
The painting was painted in spring 2023 with acrylic paint on canvas. The size of the original painting is 50 x 70cm.
It is built up in several layers and with an eye for detail.

About Carolien Bol
My grandfather was an amateur painter and, with an eye for detail, copied paintings by famous Dutch painters. Every time I smell oil paint, I imagine myself in his small studio where he spent hours.
Never thought I would adopt his love for art. But now I understand..
