About " Kontorhaus Dockland in Hamburg"

About the artwork

Das Dockland ist ein Bürogebäude an der Elbe in der Nähe des ehemaligen England-Fähranlegers im Hamburger Stadtteil Altona-Altstadt. Das sechsgeschossige Gebäude hat einen markanten Querschnitt in Form eines Parallelogramms und ragt wie ein Schiffsbug hinaus bis über das Wasser.

Das Grundstück zwischen dem Fischereihafen und der Elbe wurde Ende 2002 aufgeschüttet. Der Bau wurde 2005 fertiggestellt und am 31. Januar 2006 eingeweiht.

Der Entwurf für Dockland stammt vom Hamburger Büro BRT Architekten Bothe Richter Teherani. Eine Besonderheit in dem Gebäude sind die diagonal verkehrenden Personenaufzüge.

Die fast 500 Quadratmeter große Dachterrasse bietet einen guten Blick über den Hamburger Hafen und das nördliche Elbufer; sie ist über eine der beiden Freitreppen für die Öffentlichkeit zugänglich; Vertreter der Presse benötigen jedoch eine Drehgenehmigung.( Aus Wikipedia)

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
