Wild Kivet flower (Fritillaria meleagris), also known as the Zwolse tulip in vintage style. The markings on these flowers suggest a cultivated species, but nothing could be further from the truth. The Kivet flower is a bulbous plant related to the lilies that originally grows wild in the Netherlands.
You have to search a bit, though, because the Kiviets flower is on the red list.
In Zwolle, the flower is also known as 'the Zwolse tulip'. There, it grows along the Vecht river. This Kivietsbloem was photographed in an old botanical garden. As a lover of nature or flowers and Zwolle resident, this flower cannot be missing on the wall. Beautiful in combination with a vintage interior or purple tones.
