He has just become the father of a litter of young kingfishers, which will grow from ugly little pink creatures to the most beautiful birds to be found along the creek in about 4 weeks. He will have to provide them with sufficient food, a difficult task now that the water is not really warming up properly and there is even a threat of night frost at the end of April. Here he scans the water of the stream for a fish, the most important food on the menu.
By combining several shots, a file of 77 megapixels was created, large enough for the largest prints or a nice sharp wallpaper.
