About ‘Kingfisher dive’ by Dick Slagman
Recently managed to take this beautiful photo of the diving kingfisher touching the surface of the water with the tip of its beak. A lot of photos preceded it. It was quite dark but fortunately windless. This resulted in the water surface acting as a mirror!

Welcome, great that you are watching!
My name is Dick Slagman and I am from Rijssen (Overijssel).
I have been actively engaged in photography since 2020. If possible, I go out early in the morning, before sunrise. Often the most beautiful moment of the day. Besides photography in nature (both wild-life and landscape photography), I really enjoy photographing people.
Something to celebrate? You can approach me for: portrait, family, new-born and wedding…
