The Kamper Kogge is a kogge reconstructed in Kampen. Kampen is therefore the only city in the Netherlands with a bull's eye. The Kamper Kogge is a reconstruction of a wreck from 1336 that was found in the Flevopolder near Nijkerk. In addition to information from this wreck, archival research was also carried out in order to incorporate as much original information as possible into the reconstruction. Because of this it has been possible to build the cogge in an authentic way. In the Middle Ages, a bullet was built in four months. In Kampen the reconstruction of the ship took four years.
