About the artwork

The picture shows a close-up of a decorative dahlia with a striking colour scheme: the elongated, pointed petals run from a strong pink at the base to a clear white at the tips. The symmetrical, radial arrangement of the petals gives the flower an almost graphic structure. The background is deliberately blurred and consists of green foliage, which further emphasises the luminosity of the flower.

The inspiration for this work arose from the desire to capture the formal rigour and natural elegance of this type of dahlia. I was attracted by the challenge of combining the geometric precision of the flower with the organic softness of natural light.

With this picture I wanted to create an atmosphere of clarity and concentration. It is about conscious seeing - about recognising order and rhythm in nature. The message lies in the balance between structure and vitality.

In interior design, this picture acts as a colourful accent that enlivens rooms without dominating them. Particularly in minimalist or modern environments, it provides a deliberate point of contrast and brings a floral but clear aesthetic to the room.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
