This variation on The Slave Market shows two women who are for sale as slaves on the market. To attribute Orientalism, the scene refers to the area in the Middle East. At the heart of the story are the figures, which are offered cheaply in an exotic-looking dodgy environment.
The figures, presented partly naked or half-naked to the sale or to the viewer, correspond to sexual fantasy. In this way you immediately become aware of the completely naked, left-wing white woman offering her body in an erotic pose. Legs, hips, vagina, belly, torso and breasts are placed on her nude portrait. The black girl sits topless on the ground waiting for her fate with a red flower in her hair.
Between the women is a monkey that seems to feel sorry for the girls.
