Paleis Het Loo is a palace situated on the outskirts of Apeldoorn, Gelderland. The palace was inhabited by members of the Royal Family of the Netherlands until 1975. Since 1984, it has been open to the public as the National Museum Paleis het Loo.
Jan van Call (Nijmegen, 1656 - The Hague, 1703 or 1706) was a Dutch painter and engraver.
Van Call was a self-taught artist who became known for the many landscapes, townscapes and buildings he drew and engraved. He made a long journey via Germany and Switzerland, along the Rhine, to Rome, producing many works along the way.
