The Jaguar radiator mascot is called the "Leaper" and has been in use since the 1940s. Due to high risk of injury, however, it was prohibited by law in Germany from 1959. Jaguar then developed a new Leaper, which automatically folds away if it encounters an obstacle. Here it is mounted on the bonnet of a Jaguar Mark II 3.8 Litre.
