Three young girls representing the three theological virtues of faith, hope and charity kneel on a cart pulled by the symbols of the four evangelists. On the sides of the cart are the personifications of the four cardinal virtues (justice, prudence, fortitude and temperance) and a group of saints. Jesus Christ lies on an armillary sphere with his open arms as a sign of mercy on earth.
