The landscape around San Quirico d'Orcia, in the heart of Tuscany, is an icon of Italian beauty. Rolling hills stretch to the horizon, covered with undulating wheat fields, rows of cypress trees and olive groves. In every season, the landscape subtly changes colour: from fresh green in spring to golden yellow in summer and soft brown in autumn.
Characteristic are the winding country roads that lead to lonely farmhouses and chapels, such as the famous Cappella della Madonna di Vitaleta. In the early morning, a mysterious mist often hangs over the valley as sunlight slowly brings the landscape to life.

San Quirico d'Orcia is not just a village, but the beating heart of a timeless landscape that has inspired artists, travellers and dreamers for centuries.
