Amid the rolling Tuscan countryside near San Quirico d'Orcia stands the iconic Cappella della Madonna di Vitaleta - a small, white-plastered chapel surrounded by cypress trees. This lonely chapel, perched on a hill along a winding gravel path, is one of the most photographed and loved spots in the Val d'Orcia.
The setting exudes tranquillity and simplicity: vast wheat fields, gentle hills and the warm light typical of Tuscany. In every season, the chapel offers a different sight - surrounded by flowers in spring, golden yellow in summer, or misty and mysterious in early autumn.
