A warm afternoon in March on the island of Tabarca off Santa Pola, Spain. Despite still being early in the year, the temperature is already rising nicely. The wind and light clouds keep it pleasant to be outside.
The composition of the three trees catches my attention. They are guarding a boat that is not only out of the water but also filled with soil. Not the ideal location for a boat, when the water it belongs in is so close.
Wind, water, earth and the burning sun combine to form an image typical of the small Spanish island. The many tourists who visit the island every day walk past it, but I take 5 seconds to capture the image forever.
