About ‘Is the desert alive?’ by heike bluthardt

This collage was created in collaboration with Paulien Schipper. She is a goldsmith and makes these beautiful jewellery pieces that I have incorporated into this collage.

Surrealistic it could be and also a little Alice in Wonderland, oh yes, the jewellery did have to play the leading role. This time it is the brooch that has been given the leading role.
