About ‘Ireland's coast’ by Stefan Matthis

The picture shows an Irish coastal landscape with a wide beach that gently stretches along a sheltered bay. In the foreground are round stones and rocks, partly covered in green algae growth, between which narrow watercourses make their way into the sea. The damp sand bears fine lines and patterns drawn by the receding waves. The sea appears calm and clear, its surface reflecting the subdued light of the cloudy sky. Green hills and stony cliffs rise in the background, their layers clearly visible, moulded by wind and water. The landscape appears untouched and still, with no trace of human presence. The sky is covered in heavy, grey clouds, but allows light to shine through in places. Overall, the picture conveys an atmosphere of seclusion, closeness to nature and timeless tranquillity that invites us to pause and observe.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
